7,000 Workers from Stryker, Other Medical Device Makers Set to Lose Jobs
Stryker Corp, alongside with other medical device makers, have been brewing the cut down of 7000 employees, says an article found in the Internet. Stryker has been reported to lay off 1,100 of their employees in early 2012 to come up with the 2.3 percent medical tax imposed by the ObamaCare. Despite being unable to show that the device tax was the reason, other makers of medical devices joined Stryker in cutting the workforce worldwide. However, many of the manufacturers have been facing legal problems due to injuries caused by their products on the recipients.
